Position Overview: ​

We ​are ​seeking a ​highly capable Senior Mechanical ​Engineer ​with over ​5 years of ​experience to ​lead ​the design, ​development, ​and ​integration of mechanical ​systems ​for advanced autonomous ​platforms ​such ​as UAVs, robots, ​and smart ​devices. ​You will ​be responsible ​for ​creating robust mechanical ​architectures, performing ​detailed analyses, and ensuring the structural integrity and manufacturability of components in dynamic and high-performance environments.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and optimize mechanical systems, structures, and components for UAV and autonomous systems.
  • Conduct detailed mechanical analysis, including structural, thermal, and dynamic simulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, firmware, production, and quality engineers to ensure comprehensive integration.
  • Generate accurate 3D models, engineering drawings, and documentation using CAD software.
  • Develop and test prototypes, analyze results, and implement design improvements.
  • Ensure designs meet stringent aerospace and defense standards for reliability, durability, and performance.
  • Provide technical guidance and support during manufacturing, assembly, and testing phases.
  • Stay current with advanced mechanical engineering methodologies, materials, and industry best practices.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in mechanical design and analysis, ideally within aerospace, defense, or high-tech industries.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, CATIA).
  • Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and simulation tools.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams and handle multiple projects concurrently.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience designing UAVs, aerospace systems, or robotics.
  • Familiarity with advanced manufacturing techniques, including additive manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of composite materials and their applications in aerospace.
  • Experience with mechanical system integration and testing.
